Graduate students in the Forest Ecosystem Ecology Lab complete projects on a number of forest ecology related topics. Current graduate students have undertaken projects such as studying carbon dynamics in forest ecosystems and using ecologica l geostatistics in determining spacial patterns and processes of ecosystem productivity.
Before applying to the department or graduate school for admission, prospective graduate students must establish a relationship with a major professor who will agree to act as an advisor, and also must secure funding from an external source or from the advisor.
